We're very proud of our home-cooked food here at the Woodpecker and for all the customers who keep coming back every week to enjoy it.
Choose between our brand-new, outside space, which is mostly covered, and our newly re-decorated inside bar & restaurant room.
OPENING HOURS:
Monday and Tuesday: 12-9pm (Food 12-5pm)
Wednesday to Thursday: 12-9pm (Food 12-8pm)
Friday & Saturday: 12-10pm (Food 12-8pm)
Sunday: 12-5pm (Food 12-4pm - Sunday roasts, hot baguettes & children's meals ONLY.)
Please note that our fryers on not switched on for Sundays, so children's meals will be served with the option of roast potatoes, mash or waffles.
IT IS ADVISABLE TO PLEASE BOOK A TABLE.

Parties & Gatherings
Please get in contact if you are thinking of visiting us with a large party for birthdays, funerals or a trip to the Newbury Races, later this summer. Coach parties are also welcome (prior booking is required). We can serve breakfast or a late afternoon meal plus buffets and BBQs in the summer. We're always here to help if we can!
Our heated marquee can seat 40 for a sit down meal or tables can be moved for a buffet and disco as required, so if you are looking for somewhere to hold that special occasion then please give us a call as all requirements can be catered for. Call for more info 01635 43027.
